Policy explains how we collect, use, and disclose information through our mobile application
Cannect.

To provide the core functionality of Cannect, we collect limited personal information when you
create an account:
Contact Information: Name and your email address (info@highergroundco.com.au is our primary
contact for data inquiries).
Account Credentials: Password and authentication data used to secure your profile.
User-Generated Content: Reviews, ratings, and feedback you choose to submit through the App.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely for the following purposes:
App Functionality: To authenticate your identity, allow you to manage your profile, and save your
feedback history.
Service Improvement: To provide aggregated, non-identifiable insights to improve clinic services.
Communication: To send essential account-related notifications or respond to support requests

3. Data Sharing and Anonymity
We prioritise your privacy in the feedback loop:
Clinic Feedback: When you submit a review or feedback to a clinic via Cannect, we do not share
your name, email, or any personal identifiers with that clinic. Clinics receive the content of the
review only.
No Third-Party Sales: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for
marketing or advertising purposes.
4. Data Security and Retention
We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, to
protect your data. We retain your personal information only as long as your account is active or as
needed to provide you with the App’s services.
5. Your Rights (Australian Privacy Principles)
As an Australian-based service, we comply with the Privacy Act 1988. You have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you.
Request corrections to any inaccurate data.
Anonymously provide feedback (which is the default state for our clinic-facing reports).
6. Account Deletion
In accordance with Apple’s App Store guidelines, you have total control over your data. You may
delete your account and all associated personal data at any time:
In-App Deletion: Navigate to the Settings or Profile menu within Cannect and select “Delete
Account.” This will immediately initiate the permanent removal of your personal identifiers from
our databases.
Manual Request: Alternatively, you can email info@highergroundco.com.au with the subject
“Account Deletion Request,” and our team will process your request within 7 business days.
